Meliconnect Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to Meliconnect.

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website https://mercadolibre.meliconnect.com, the Meliconnect plugin, and all related services (hereinafter, the “Service”).

By accessing, installing, or using Meliconnect, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Meliconnect is a WordPress and WooCommerce plugin that allows the integration of WooCommerce stores with MercadoLibre.

Its features include, among others:

Product publishing.
Stock synchronization.
Price synchronization.
Order synchronization.
Listing import and export.
Management of multiple MercadoLibre accounts.
Automation tools related to the integration.

Meliconnect may add new features, modify existing ones, or discontinue certain functionalities when necessary to improve the service.

3. Usage Requirements

To use Meliconnect, the user must:

Have a valid WordPress installation.
Have WooCommerce properly installed.
Have a valid MercadoLibre account when applicable.
Maintain the minimum technical requirements specified by Meliconnect.

The proper operation of the Service also depends on third-party services, including WordPress, WooCommerce, MercadoLibre, and hosting providers.

4. License

Meliconnect is distributed under the GPL license for WordPress.

Purchasing a subscription does not imply the purchase of the software itself, but rather access to additional services, including updates, technical support, synchronization features, premium functionalities, and other services offered by Meliconnect.

5. Subscriptions

Meliconnect offers subscription plans:

Monthly.
Semi-Annual.
Annual.

Each subscription provides access to the corresponding features during the contracted period.

The subscription will automatically renew when supported by the payment method used, unless the user cancels it before the renewal date.

6. Cancellation

The user may cancel their subscription at any time.

Cancellation will prevent future automatic renewals, but access will remain active until the end of the previously paid period.

No additional charges will be made once automatic renewal has been canceled.

7. Free Version

Meliconnect offers a free version that allows users to evaluate the plugin with certain limitations, including the ability to synchronize up to 50 products.

This version allows users to verify software compatibility with their store before purchasing a subscription.

8. Payments

Payments may be processed by authorized third-party providers, including Paddle and other payment platforms that Meliconnect may incorporate in the future.

Meliconnect does not store complete credit or debit card information.

Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment provider.

9. Updates

During the subscription period, users will have access to:

Plugin updates.
Improvements.
Bug fixes.
New features when they are released.

Updates may modify the software’s functionality in order to improve stability, performance, or compatibility.

10. Technical Support

Support is provided exclusively to users with an active subscription.

The user must provide all necessary information to reproduce the issue.

Meliconnect will make reasonable efforts to respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe, although maximum response times are not guaranteed.

11. Third-Party Services

Meliconnect partially depends on external services, including:

MercadoLibre.
WooCommerce.
WordPress.
Hosting services.
Payment gateways.
Third-party APIs.

Meliconnect shall not be responsible for interruptions, modifications, limitations, or failures caused by such services.

12. Acceptable Use

The user agrees not to use Meliconnect to:

perform illegal activities;
violate third-party rights;
attempt unauthorized access to systems or services;
modify the operation of the software;
distribute modified versions for fraudulent purposes;
use the service in violation of MercadoLibre policies.

Meliconnect may suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

13. Intellectual Property

The Meliconnect trade name, logo, documentation, website, designs, and other content belong to Emiliano Nicolas Serkin or their respective owners.

Nothing established in these Terms grants a transfer of intellectual property rights.

14. Limitation of Liability

Meliconnect is provided “as is”.

Although continuous efforts are made to provide a stable and reliable service, we do not guarantee that the software will be free of errors or operate without interruptions in all possible configurations.

Under no circumstances shall Meliconnect be liable for loss of sales, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruptions, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

The total liability of Meliconnect, if applicable, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user during the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Modifications

Meliconnect may modify these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary.

Changes will become effective upon publication on the website.

Continued use of the Service will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic.

Any dispute arising from the use of the Service shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Argentine Republic, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
